Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health in McAllen, TX is hiring a Bilingual Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver in-home therapy for children with developmental, physical, and sensory needs. You will assess, plan, and implement evidence-based OT services to help children build independence and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Texas).
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based pediatric occupational therapy in the home and community.
• Perform evaluations, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring (OTs).
• Develop and/or execute individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Deliver interventions to improve ADLs, fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, cognition, and social/emotional development.
• Educate and empower families and caregivers for carryover in daily routines.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Document care in an electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

Qualifications

Required:

• Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license (Texas)

Preferred:

• 1+ year of pediatric experience
• Home health experience
• Bilingual: English/Spanish
