Job summary

The RN Coordinator will coordinate, monitor, and document the health care of unaccompanied children in the UC program, ensuring care aligns with regulatory oversight and best health care practices. Partnership with community providers and insurers is essential for seamless care delivery.

Ideal candidates are NYS-licensed RNs with BLS, pediatric experience, supervisory skills, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities; willing to cover Bronx/Brooklyn as needed; salary range provided.

Qualifications

• New York State RN license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience in pediatric and/or adolescent medicine.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English and Spanish; other languages a plus.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings per ORR contract.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and document medical care for UC program youth.
• Arrange and participate in initial physicals/IME as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care for illnesses or injuries in the health center.
• Supervise and evaluate the Medical Coordinator and staff.
• Administer and track medications; assist with prescription documentation.
