Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Payroll Specialist (Bilingual Spanish) for Montebello, CA. This onsite role supports a high-volume payroll environment in a family-oriented company, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a temp-to-hire pathway.

Responsibilities include processing payroll for ~500 employees, managing weekly and bi-weekly cycles, and administering Paylocity. Spanish fluency is required, along with garnishments, reconciliations, and agency invoices handling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume, full-cycle payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll for ~500+ employees.
• Bilingual Spanish required; Paylocity experience preferred.
• Experience with garnishments and payroll reconciliations.
• Experience reconciling staffing agency invoices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 500 employees.
• Manage both weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles.
• Process payroll for W-2 employees and agency employees.
• Administer payroll through Paylocity.
• Handle garnishments, payroll audits, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile staffing agency invoices for Accounts Payable.
• Support multi-state payroll processing.
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery.
