Job summary

Pure Ground Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to oversee payroll and support HR lifecycle activities in a hands-on environment.

The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with operations and sales to assist recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of maintaining accurate records, processing payroll, and administering benefits while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in payroll and HR roles.
• Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and HR best practices.
• Familiarity with federal and Nevada employment laws and compliance.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain payroll records, pay data, and timekeeping systems.
• Administer employee benefits programs and communications.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support recruitment activities and candidate coordination.
• Assist with audits of payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, and 401(k).
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
