Job summary

Lakin Tire East, Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Coordinator to manage weekly payroll and support benefits, onboarding, and HR administration. Hands-on ADP payroll experience and fluency in English and Spanish are required.

The role includes onboarding new hires, administering benefits, responding to payroll questions, and ensuring confidential employee records. Strong Excel skills and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ADP payroll experience and fluency in English and Spanish are required.
• 3+ years of payroll and/or HR experience preferred
• Benefits administration and onboarding experience preferred
• Working knowledge of payroll practices, taxes, deductions, and wage-and-hour requirements
• Strong Excel and computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• High degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll using ADP.
• Review timecards, overtime, PTO, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and payroll changes.
• Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies prior to submission.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to employee payroll questions.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end payroll activities, including W-2 review.
• Coordinate with ADP support as needed.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, payroll setup, and employee offboarding.
• Administer benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment.
• Assist employees with benefits and routine HR questions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Assist with employment verifications, unemployment claims, workers’ compensation documentation, and other HR administration.
• Provide payroll and HR support to Spanish-speaking employees.
