Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Patient Service Specialist in Sierra Vista, AZ. You will be the first touch for patients, gathering essential visit information and delivering an exceptional patient experience across our ophthalmology practices.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, checking in/out, scheduling appointments (pre/post-op), reviewing forms, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining medical records. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preference for Spanish Speaking - highly preferred.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical Front Desk experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule.
• Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience.
