Job summary

American Vision Partners (AVP) is seeking a Patient Service Specialist at our Chandler, AZ location to be the patient’s first touch and gather essential information for visits, ensuring an exceptional experience.

You will greet patients, check them in and out, schedule appointments (pre- and post-operative), review paperwork and consents, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain patient records with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical Front Desk experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule.
• Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and visitors warmly in person or by telephone.

• Scheduling clinic and surgical appointments, including pre- and post-operative visits.
