Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking an entry-level Patient Financial Advocate to screen patients on-site at hospitals for eligibility assistance programs, bedside or in the ER. This role supports client contacts and tracks progress.

Requires bilingual English and Spanish, immunization compliance, and basic computer skills. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1-3 years in medical billing, eligibility, or related fields is preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years' experience in medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Screen patients on-site at hospitals for eligibility assistance programs (bedside or ER).
• Identify self-pay cases and refer to State/County/Federal programs as appropriate.
• Initiate applications for eligibility assistance when possible.
• Document patient information and progress in hospital systems and tracking tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with hospital staff and coordinate with client contacts.
• Meet specified goals and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Attend to field work including patient home visits as required.
