HSP is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to support a patient-focused audiology practice in Simi Valley. You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and verify insurance, in English and Spanish.

This on-site, full-time role offers temporary status with potential for permanent placement. Applicant must communicate clearly, be detail-oriented, and comfortable learning medical terminology and EHR workflows.

Job description

HSP is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to support a patient-focused audiology practice in Simi Valley. We are especially interested in candidates who have previously worked in an audiology practice, ENT office, hearing-aid center, or specialty medical office and understand the importance of excellent patient service, accurate scheduling, insurance verification, and attention to detail.

This position will begin as temporary and has the opportunity to convert to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

Location: full time position on site in Simi Valley

What You'll Do

• Greet patients and provide a warm, professional experience
• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
• Communicate with patients in both English and Spanish
• Verify insurance benefits and patient eligibility
• Assist with referrals, authorizations, and insurance-related follow-up
• Coordinate hearing-aid appointments, repairs, orders, and patient follow-up
• Maintain accurate patient information in the electronic health record
• Communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and other healthcare offices
• Assist the audiologist and office team with day-to-day patient care coordination
• Follow HIPAA and patient privacy requirements
• Help keep the front office organized and running efficiently

Ideal Experience - Strongly preferred:

• Previous experience in an audiology, ENT, hearing-aid, or specialty medical practice
• Experience with medical insurance verification and authorizations
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care, PPO insurance, or medical billing workflows
• Experience working with an electronic health record or medical scheduling system
• Candidates with strong medical front-office experience who are interested in learning audiology are also encouraged to apply.

• Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid)
