Christ Health Center is seeking a Bilingual Patient Account Representative to support patients with medical billing, insurance claims, and account balances. The role acts as the liaison between patients, providers, insurers, and internal billing teams.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule and requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to resolving billing concerns.

• Explain billing charges and patient financial responsibility in clear terms.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medical bills, account balances, payments, insurance claims, and statements.
• Explain billing charges, insurance benefits, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, and patient financial responsibility in clear terms.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions.
• Review insurance claim information and assist with identifying claim processing or payment issues.
• Communicate with insurance companies and internal departments to resolve outstanding billing concerns.
• Process patient payments and accurately document account activity.
• Assist patients with payment arrangements, financial assistance options, and resources per policy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions and account activity.
• Protect patient information per HIPAA and privacy requirements.
