Job summary

Christ Health Center is hiring a bilingual Billing Customer Service Specialist to provide knowledgeable, compassionate, and timely support to patients regarding medical billing, insurance claims, account balances, and payment questions. This position serves as a key point of contact between patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal billing teams.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required with clear verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a multi-cultural healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient inquiries about medical bills, balances, payments, and claims.
• Explain charges, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and financial responsibility.
• Review and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Coordinate with insurers and internal teams to resolve concerns.
• Process patient payments and document account activity accurately.
• Assist with payment arrangements and financial assistance options.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and protect patient information.
