You will register patients, verify insurance, collect information, and enter demographics to ensure accurate records and smooth visits. You’ll also handle scheduling, financial counseling, questions, and basic EMR use, while delivering empathetic, customer-focused service in a busy healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients, verifies identity and insurance, collects basic information, enters demographics, and scans forms.
• Scans documents, answers phones, and uses EMR and eligibility tools.
• Notifies case managers and documents referrals.
• Provides estimates and collects payments.
• Verifies basic eligibility and coverage.
• Answers routine questions and escalates issues.
• Assists with check-in and troubleshoots basic issues at patient kiosks.
• Documents and routes referrals.
• Schedules routine appointments.
• Requests routine transport and confirms details.
• Flags duplicate records and scans identification.
• Flags cases needing review.
