Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with responsibilities including greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, answering calls, processing transactions, and completing training. ASE certification and automotive familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
• ASE certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Support managers and installers with professional customers as needed.
• Handle cash, checks, credit card transactions, and returns per policy.
• Answer store calls, look up parts, quote prices, and promote low-price guarantees.
• Perform daily operational tasks: stocking, planograms, freight, and cycle counts.
• Provide in-store services such as wipers installation and battery tests as permissible by state law.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
