Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in California is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high level service to retail and installer customers, greet customers, quote prices, and assist with product selection.

You will support store management, complete training, handle cash and credit transactions, process returns, resolve complaints, and participate in daily stock and planogram updates. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• ASE certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
• Outstanding, friendly and professional customer service
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and walk-in customers warmly and help select merchandise
• Assist managers and installers in serving professional customers as needed
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store and quote prices
• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely
• Process exchanges and returns per policy
• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally
• Assist with daily image maker, planogram updates, and stocking
• Perform in-store services (where allowed by state/local law) such as test and service vehicles
