Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. You will use handheld devices, take customer signatures, and ensure vehicle inspections are completed daily.

Responsibilities include returning items, communicating customer needs to management, and assisting with general store tasks as needed. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet the standard in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Process deliveries using fleet handheld devices and capture customer signatures.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, handheld devices, and monies secure.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy and assist with other duties as needed.
