Qualifications

• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and maintained; perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store management.
• Ensure fuel is topped up and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy; assist with stocking and merchandising as needed.
• May assist customers or serve as a cashier when business requires.
