Qualifications

• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, and update vehicle mileage.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and perform daily inspections prior to operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy and handle other duties as assigned.
• May assist customers as cashier or help with merchandising when business dictates.
