Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will be favored for service calls and returns processing.

You will use fleet handheld devices, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and keep all equipment secure. The role includes stocking, merchandising, and occasional cashier duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies collected secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock/secure vehicle at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising, and other duties as needed.
