Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers, and to collect money on COD deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. You will use fleet management devices for deliveries, perform daily vehicle inspections, and keep vehicles and equipment secure. Additional duties include cashier and merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies collected securely.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs or problems to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to policy and perform other duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, or running errands.
