O’Reilly Auto Parts in Schuyler, NE is seeking a Parts Specialist to provide high quality service to retail and installer customers and to support store management with assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Duties include greeting customers, assisting with parts selection, handling cash and returns, answering calls, looking up parts, and quoting prices. The role also involves stocking, planogram updates, and occasional driving per business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs, such as Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts and quote prices, and offer related items and the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain cash drawer, accept cash/checks, make change, and process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy in a friendly manner.
• Address and resolve customer complaints.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, as well as stocking and fronting.
• Perform daily operational tasks, stock adjustments, inventory counts, and related duties.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
• Provide in-store services (e.g., install wipers, test batteries) as allowed by state laws.
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when needed and per driving eligibility requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
