Job summary

Penny Lane Centers is seeking a Parent Partner to deliver direct services to Intensive Services youth and their families in Lancaster, CA. The role emphasizes strengths-based, family-centered approaches and collaboration with the Child and Family Team to ensure informed parental involvement and ownership of the plan.

The Parent Partner conducts collateral, case management and consultations while maintaining organization and time management to meet program requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Parent or long-term caretaker with personal system experience in DCFS, Probation, Department of Mental Health or Regional Center.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred (verbal skillset only).
• Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; clean driving record acceptable to the org’s insurer.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mental Health Services including collateral, case management and case consultation.
• Advocate for parents/caregivers and families involved in Intensive Services Programs.
• Represent parents/caregivers at agency meetings, Penny Lane Network Provider Meetings and Penny Lane Community Advisory Committee.
• Support program adherence to the County contract.
