Job summary

Penny Lane Centers is seeking a Resource Family Partner (RFP) in Lancaster, CA. The role provides direct support, advocacy, and service navigation to kinship caregivers, promoting family stability and child well-being.

The candidate should have a BA in psychology or related field or a high school diploma with related experience, be bilingual in Spanish, and hold a valid California driver's license. The position offers pay from $23.39 to $33.77 per hour plus a bilingual differential and full

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred plus one year of relevant experience.
Or a high school diploma with two years minimum experience in social services.
Or a high school diploma with 32 units, including 16 units in Social Work/ Social Sciences, plus one year experience.
Bilingual Spanish required (verbal and written).
Valid California driver’s license with access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support, advocacy, and service navigation to kinship caregivers and NREFM families.
Assess kinship families, identify needs, and facilitate referrals to community resources.
Work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and apply trauma-informed understanding to children and families.
