Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Slidell, LA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Specialist. You will assist customers, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and help identify the right solutions while supporting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and inventory records.
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment and maintain a presentable area.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition across assigned areas.
• Stay knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
