Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring Customer Service Specialists in Waxhaw, NC. You will assist customers in person and by phone, determine needs, present product solutions, and help maintain high store standards.

Responsibilities include processing sales, stocking displays, tinting products to specs, supporting deliveries, and meeting monthly sales goals. Candidates must be 18+, fluent in English and Spanish, and able to lift up to 70 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in customer service or retail helpful.
• Must be able to read/write English and Spanish.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with store policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and product organization.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Assist in making deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
