Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Customer Service Specialist in College Park, MD. You will help wholesale and retail customers select the right Sherwin-Williams products, resolve concerns, and maintain high store standards.

The role supports in-store sales, product knowledge, and timely transactions. In this position, you will interact with customers, lift and move stock, and assist with deliveries as needed, while meeting monthly and yearly sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have a meets expectations rating and completed HR Cloud courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries.
