Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a part-time Customer Service Specialist in Layton, UT to assist customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions. You will help with in-store sales, handle transactions, and maintain displays while delivering excellent service.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb (70 lb occasionally). Evening and weekend availability is expected, with experience in paint or retail a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must read, write, and speak English; Spanish required
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees: at least a 3 rating on last performance appraisal and completed HR Cloud eLearning

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services
• Build trust with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately per policies
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly
• Maintain accurate work order files and pricing formulas
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products per customer specs
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries as needed
• Maintain in-stock and presentable areas
• Stay knowledgeable on products and options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
