Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Roseville, MI is seeking a Store Associate to support our Store #1348. You will help wholesale and retail customers determine needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions, delivering strong service aligned with store sales goals.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, building trust, processing transactions, stocking displays, tinting/mixing products, and supporting deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams: rating of at least 'meets expectations'.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams: completed HR Cloud eLearning courses.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and inventory.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.
