Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Customer Service Specialist in Illinois to assist both wholesale and retail customers, determine needs, and recommend paint-related solutions. The role emphasizes high customer satisfaction, accurate sales processing, and meeting sales goals while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must meet expectations in performance appraisals and complete HR Cloud eLearning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
• Pull products from sales floor or warehouse as needed.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries.
