Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is hiring an ORR Night Youth Care Worker (English/Spanish) at Canyon State Academy in Oracle, Arizona. The role provides safety and overnight supervision for youth, supporting their physical, personal, and health needs while documenting behaviors.

The position includes on-site housing, meals, and transportation assistance, with a schedule rotating across A and B shifts based on program needs. Work is evenings/nights as outlined in the posted schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass bilingual English/Spanish assessment.
• At least 1 year of employment experience in the child welfare field with children/adolescents.
• Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver; valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Ability to pass criminal background clearance check, drug screen, TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and overnight supervision for youth.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Provide individual counseling and support skill development.
• Collaborate with staff to support each student’s treatment plan.
