Job summary

Rite of Passage Team is hiring an ORR Night Youth Care Worker (English/Spanish) at Canyon State Academy in Oracle, Arizona.

Night coaches provide safety and overnight supervision for youth, monitor behaviors, document activities, and assist with health, personal, and educational needs. You will collaborate with staff to support each student’s treatment plan and report to a Group Leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass bilingual (English/Spanish) assessment.
• Minimum 1 year employment in the child welfare field with children/adolescents.
• Eligible to be a ROP driver; valid State Driver’s License with clean 3-year record.
• Able to pass criminal background, drug screen, physical and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and overnight supervision for youth; support physical, personal and health needs.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities; support behavioral and educational skill development.
• Collaborate with professional staff to support each student’s treatment plan; report to Group Leader.
