Job summary

Rite of Passage's Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona, is hiring an ORR Youth Care Worker (English/Spanish). This role focuses on supporting students' physical, personal, and health needs through counseling and skill development within a structured program.

You will monitor behavior, document activities, and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities. Collaboration with staff supports each student’s treatment plan, with supervision by senior coaches.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required for assessment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in child welfare with youth/adolescents.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, TB test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Support students' physical, personal, and health needs through counseling and skill development.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities; assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with professional staff to support each student’s treatment plan.
• Perform standard paraprofessional duties related to program operations.
• Report to a Group Leader or higher authority; receive supervision from a Senior Coach Counselor.
