Job summary

Freshpoint is seeking an experienced Sales Professional, Restaurant Manager, Culinary Manager or Chef for outside sales in the Springdale area. You will promote our products, build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving sales goals.

Some non-traditional hours may be required to meet customers’ needs. The role includes a competitive base salary with bonus and promotional incentives, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related degree.
• 1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred.
• Restaurant management / chef experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts and minimize lost business to achieve growth.
• Seek and qualify prospects following account stratification goals.
• Research customer needs and propose a mix of products and services.
• Explain market trends and recommend products to meet business goals.
• Be informed about market conditions and competitor offerings; share insights with customers.
• Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and usage.
• Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
• Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and events.
• Collect accounts receivable as needed with credit department and customers.
• Manage deliveries per routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues.
• Participate in company events, promotions, and customer visits.
• Attend sales and district meetings and engage in training sessions.
