Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative in Austin, TX. You will cultivate relationships, pursue new customers, and manage a sales territory with support from training and tools provided by Gordon Food Service.

The role requires Spanish bilingualism, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year in sales, food service, or related fields. A valid driver’s license and food safety certification are needed, with potential for base salary, commissions, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish is required.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Sell and manage relationships with existing and new customers in assigned territory.
• Pursue new customers and develop sales strategies.
• Visit customers regularly and conduct business reviews to identify opportunities for growth.
• Provide training on Gordon Food Service products to customers.
• Coordinate visits and communicate order status to customers.
