Job summary

County of Riverside Registrar of Voters is seeking an Outreach Program Staff to support civic engagement and voter awareness across diverse communities. The role offers hands-on experience in public service, community outreach, and election administration.

You will develop skills in communications, content creation, video production, and event coordination while working on meaningful programs and campaigns. This is a full-time, on-site position with a requirement for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Korean or English and Mandarin required or preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute community outreach campaigns, events, and public engagement efforts
• Coordinate event logistics, including planning, setup, and on-site support
• Communicate accurate voting information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
• Create digital content, including videos, presentations, and social media materials
• Contribute to multimedia projects using video/content production and Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Track and analyze outreach data to support program effectiveness
• Manage multiple assignments independently while collaborating with team members
• Assist with day-to-day work alongside professional staff
• Participate in research, surveys, and data collection efforts
• Compile and analyze data; assist in preparing reports and evaluations
• Contribute to briefs, plans, and program documentation
• Attend staff meetings and provide observations and summaries
• Perform sub-professional assignments in support of departmental operations
• Additional duties as assigned
