Job summary

The Garden City Parks and Recreation Department seeks an Outreach Coordinator to lead community engagement initiatives, bridge communication gaps, and expand participation among local Hispanic and Latino families.

The coordinator designs, promotes, and executes culturally relevant sports and recreational activities, reporting to the Parks and Recreation Director; fluency in English and Spanish is required, and a Georgia driver's license with First Aid and CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in community outreach, sports management, or public relations.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with acceptable driving history.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required.
