Job summary

Make the Road New York is seeking a part-time Outreach & Program Support Specialist based in Queens to design and implement outreach for Adult Literacy classes. You will manage social media, create promotional materials, and coordinate events to sustain enrollment. Travel to MRNY sites may be required.

Required are 1–3 years in marketing/communications, fluency in English and Spanish, and strong digital literacy. Evening/weekend flexibility and commitment to community organizing are expected.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing/communications, social media.
• Strong digital literacy with listed tools and platforms.
• Occasional travel to MRNY offices.
• Occasional evenings and weekends are required.
• Commitment to collective action and community organizing.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine outreach and recruitment strategies for Adult Literacy programs.
• Create and manage social media strategy and content to promote enrollment.
• Plan and execute in-person outreach events and community engagements.
• Build partnerships with community organizations and institutions to raise awareness.
• Maintain records of outreach activities and partnerships.
• Coordinate content with instructors to showcase program successes.
