America's Best in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Optometric Technician to support pre-screenings and testing before the Doctor's exam. You will help ensure high quality patient care in a professional setting and assist with paperwork and patient coordination.

No optical experience is required as training is provided; fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, along with strong customer service and organizational skills. Opportunities for growth exist within National Vision.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain tests clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere in the doctor’s office and pretest area.
• Explain preliminary examinations and perform pre-screening testing.
• Complete paperwork and review patient information for special needs.
• Promote and conduct visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Coordinate with the optometrist and staff to support efficient patient flow.
