National Vision, the parent company of America’s Best, is hiring an Optometric Technician - Medical Assistant - Bilingual. This full-time role supports the optometrist with pre-screenings and testing to keep patient flow efficient; no prior optical experience is required as training is provided.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, customer-focused, organized, and able to explain preliminary examinations clearly.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
• Retail/optical experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge.
• Able to explain examinations clearly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere in the doctor’s office and pre-test room.
• Explain preliminary examinations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and perform testing prior to doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
