America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Optometric Technician - Medical Assistant - Bilingual to join our Dallas-area team. The role focuses on efficient patient flow, pre-screenings, and testing before the Doctor’s examination, with training provided.

The candidate should be fluent in English and Spanish, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of supporting both eyewear and eye care services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
• Ability to learn optical terminology and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care and support workflow.
• Maintain professional front-desk and pre-test areas.
• Explain preliminary examinations to patients clearly.
• Conduct pre-screenings and testing prior to doctor visits.
• Review patient information and referrals with the team.
• Maintain equipment in exam and pre-test rooms.
• Coordinate with optician, Doctor, and Retail Management as needed.
• Assist with paperwork related to patient testing and records.
