Job summary

National Vision's America’s Best is seeking a part-time Optometric Technician – Medical Assistant who can work in a fast-paced eye care setting. You will perform pre-screenings and testing to support the Doctor’s examination, with training provided if you lack optical experience.

As a bilingual team member, you’ll help clients understand procedures, maintain a professional front office, and contribute to a smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Retail/optical experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn optical terminology and testing procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care and professional atmosphere.
• Explain to patients the types of preliminary examinations.
• Complete necessary paperwork and perform testing prior to doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings to eligible patients.
• Maintain and ensure proper operation of equipment.
