Prisma International, Inc. (Prisma) seeks experienced onsite interpreters to join our California network.

The role covers simultaneous and consecutive interpretation onsite, with occasional Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) opportunities, supporting clients across public and private sectors. Requirements include court certification in California or US Federal Courts when possible, or at least two years of onsite legal interpreting.

Qualifications

• Court certification in California or US Federal Courts preferred.
• If not certified, at least two years of onsite interpreting experience in legal/court settings.
• Three references confirming professional onsite interpreter status.
• Fluency in English and the other language(s).
• Minimum age: 18+ years.

Responsabilités

• Provide simultaneous and/or consecutive onsite interpretation.
• Provide Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) when required.
• Review background documents prior to assignments to ensure accuracy.
• Operate interpretation tools and equipment as needed (e.g., Zoom).
• Maintain professional appearance, courteous demeanor and uphold ethics and confidentiality.
