You will provide consecutive interpretation between English and various languages, follow client protocols, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional ethics. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in English and all language(s) interpreted.
• Ability to provide consecutive interpretation.
• Successful completion of proficiency evaluations.
• Résumé in English for application.
• Health and immunization requirements may apply.
• Background checks may be required.
• One+ years interpreting experience.
• Experience in medical/legal/community interpreting is a plus.
• Relevant interpreter credentials/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and all spoken languages onsite.
• Provide remote interpreting by phone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, and security requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA).
• Maintain professionalism with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject matter knowledge.
