Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Language.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language.
• Successful completion of applicable language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• Health and immunization requirements may apply depending on client/site.
• Background, security, fingerprinting may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy and data-protection requirements (HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, etc.).
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge for assignments.
