This independent contractor role requires professional interpretation between English and all languages, with remote options where applicable, and adherence to strict confidentiality, privacy, and client protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have professional interpreting proficiency.
• Successful completion of interpreter evaluations.
• Current résumé in English during application.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language onsite.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy, security, and data‑protection requirements including HIPAA/FERPA/GLBA.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject‑matter knowledge.
