Pediatrics On Demand is an Immediate Care and Primary Care located in Oak Lawn, IL. We also have a sister company, Minis Walk In Clinic. We serve patients from birth to 21 years of age. Our mission: "Better Healthcare for Tomorrow’s Leaders". We are focused on high quality patient care and customer service. We are seeking a bright front desk receptionist to bring the customer service level to the highest standard and add value to the office environment.

Hourly: $18‑20 depending on experience. 12 hour shifts.

Front Desk Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
• Answers patients' questions; maintains the reception area.
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Obtains payments from patients.
• Obtains consents for treatment.
• Verifies insurances and collects copays and balances.
• Maintains confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Follows and enforces accepted safety practices for patients.
• Reports any incidents or patient concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Displays a professional, friendly, and courteous manner at all times.
• Collaborates as a team player.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Reports attendance and tardy issues per shift as required.
• Maintains excellent attendance by leading by example.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Healthcare experience required.
