Job summary

DTK Janitorial & Landscaping is seeking a bilingual Onboarding & HR Systems Specialist to back up employee onboarding and be the go-to resource for Paylocity and HR system needs in Houston, TX. You will support employees, managers, and HR teams with onboarding, records, timekeeping, direct deposits, and system processes.

This role requires sharp attention to detail, outstanding customer service, and the ability to troubleshoot within established procedures, working closely with HR, Payroll,

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable troubleshooting and learning HR/payroll systems, especially Paylocity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Discretion handling confidential employee/payroll information.
• Ability to work independently with escalation as needed.
• Experience with HR, onboarding, payroll, recruiting, or HRIS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide backup coverage for the primary Onboarding Specialist to ensure continuity of onboarding operations.
• Launch and monitor onboarding packets in Paylocity.
• Review onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Complete Form I-9 verification in accordance with federal requirements.
• Monitor background checks and pre-employment screening and coordinate with HR Compliance or Recruiting as needed.
• Communicate with new hires and managers regarding onboarding requirements and next steps.
• Assist with walk-in applicants and new hires as needed.
• Provide employee support for routine HR, onboarding, payroll, and Paylocity questions.
