Job summary

IKA – Laboratory, Analytical and Process Technology is seeking an on-site Customer Support Specialist to deliver exceptional service in English and Spanish. You will handle quotes, orders, and account setup while coordinating with Account Managers and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and experience in customer service, order entry, or quote generation, with strong communication, organization, and SAP/Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Experience in customer service, inside sales, order entry, or quote generation preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to build positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with SAP or another ERP/manufacturing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and live chat in English and Spanish.
• Process quotations, orders, and order confirmations within 24 hours.
• Set up new customer accounts in the ERP system.
• Respond to inquiries on products, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate delivery information to customers and Account Managers.
• Route qualified sales opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager.
• Support the reception desk on a rotating schedule.
• Generate and manage return authorizations.
• Maintain back-order reports and communicate shipping updates.
