Job summary

Venus Construction, Inc. is seeking a Field Safety Manager in Mansfield, TX to lead safety programs across active construction sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and client safety requirements.

You will work directly with field crews, supervisors, and project superintendents to promote hazard identification and safe work practices. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; OSHA 30 is required; travel between sites may be necessary.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED training must be current.
• 3–5 years of construction experience, preferably in heavy civil or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety best practices.
• Experience with field safety audits and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication with field crews and management.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel between job sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce safety policies across all job sites.
• Maintain an active field presence to observe work and coach safe practices.
• Conduct field safety audits and review job hazard analyses for compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage; document findings.
• Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date safety records and reports.
