Zusammenfassung

The Chinatown YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater New York, seeks a New Americans Initiative Coordinator to support strategy, fidelity, and quality of NAI programs. You will provide trauma-informed services, coordinate outreach, manage data, and help sustain partnerships while ensuring compliance with funders and YMCA standards.

Requires a 2+ years track record, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and bilingual ability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Mental Health, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years related experience required.
• Bilingual: Spanish/English or Mandarin/English.
• Knowledge of adult literacy, civic education, immigration services, and case management.
• Ability to articulate immigration issues and advocacy at local/state levels.

Aufgaben

• Provide trauma-informed case management and referrals with documentation.
• Support recruitment, registration, assessment, and orientation for new students.
• Assist program management to maximize participant satisfaction, revenue, and compliance.
• Expand participant belonging and growth through opportunities and involvement.
• Maintain internal case files and timely data entry into databases.
• Maintain referral networks and ensure workshop quality and contextualization.
• Assist with reporting to funders and coordinating operational aspects.
