Job summary

The Flatbush YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater New York, is seeking a New Americans Initiative (NAI) Coordinator at the Flatbush YMCA in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time role supports strategy, implementation, fidelity, and quality of NAI programs and services.

Responsibilities include case management, outreach, enrollment, and coordinating workshops that integrate technology, health, immigration, and financial literacy. Strong collaboration and data management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management and referrals to participants and community members.
• Support recruitment, registration, and orientation for new students; engage with local communities.
• Assist with program management to maximize participant satisfaction, revenue, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain up-to-date case files and data entry in required databases.
• Assist with reporting to funders and coordination of the New Americans Initiative.
